PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The Master of Education (By Research) at MAHSA University is a research-intensive postgraduate programme designed to develop advanced knowledge, critical inquiry skills, and independent research capability in the field of education. Entry Requirement
Applicants for the Master of Education (By Research) must fulfil one of the following minimum requirements:
1. A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, Malaysian Qualifications Framework – MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the Higher Education Provider (HEP) Senate; OR2. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 but less than 2.75, subject to rigorous internal assessment; OR
3. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a CGPA below 2.50, subject to a minimum of five (5) years of working experience in a relevant field.
Local and International Candidates must meet one of the following English proficiency requirements (if the first degree was obtained from a university where English is not the medium of instruction): - IELTS: Band 6.0 - TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 80 - TOEFL Paper-Based Test (PBT): Minimum score of 550 - MUET: Minimum Band 4 - Pearson Test of English (PTE): Minimum score of 58
